Terms of Service

Last updated · June 12, 2026
★ The short version

HerClout is a women's sports platform — aggregated news, scores, and original stories written by our AI, Nova. By using the site you agree to these Terms. You need to be 13 or older. Founding members who join by August 8, 2026 keep core access free for life. Nova's articles are clearly labeled and we work to keep them accurate, but double-check anything that matters. Be cool, don't abuse the site — and the sports we cover belong to the athletes and leagues. We just tell the story.

★ Sections
Section 01

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and HerClout. They cover your use of herclout.com, our email list, and any HerClout product or app (together, the "Service"). By visiting the site, signing up, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

When these Terms say "we," "us," or "HerClout," we mean HerClout, an independent women's sports media company operated in the United States. "You" means anyone who uses the Service.

Section 02

Who Can Use HerClout

You must be at least 13 years old to use HerClout or sign up for our email list. The Service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If you're between 13 and 17, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian — by using the Service you confirm you have their permission.

By signing up, you're confirming you're 13 or older. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we'll remove it.
Section 03

What HerClout Is

HerClout is a women's sports media platform. We cover the WNBA, NWSL, WTA, and LPGA — with more leagues on the way. The Service includes two kinds of content:

HerClout is an independent media company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the WNBA, NWSL, WTA, LPGA, any team, or any athlete. The Service is for news, information, and entertainment — it isn't betting, financial, legal, or professional advice.

Section 04

Your Account & Founding Membership

Some features ask for your email or let you create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.

You may be able to sign in using a third-party provider like Apple or Google. If you do, their terms and privacy policies also apply to that sign-in, and we receive only the basic profile details needed to set up your account.

Founding members — anyone who joins by August 8, 2026 — get HerClout core access free, for life. That promise doesn't expire and we won't walk it back. Optional premium features may be offered separately for a fee.

You can unsubscribe from our emails or ask us to close your account at any time.

Section 05

Nova & AI-Generated Content

Nova is HerClout's AI sports writer. Every article Nova writes is clearly labeled as AI-generated — that's a feature, not fine print.

We work hard to keep Nova accurate and fact-checked, but AI-generated content can contain errors or become out of date. Don't rely on it for decisions that matter — like betting, health, or finances — without checking an authoritative source.

Nova's articles are HerClout's editorial synthesis of public information. Stats and facts come from public sources, which we credit. Spot something wrong? Tell us at hello@herclout.com and we'll fix it.

Section 06

Third-Party Content & Links

HerClout links to articles, scores, and content published by others (like ESPN, CBS Sports, and league sites). We don't own, control, or endorse that content, and we're not responsible for it. When you follow a link off our site, that publisher's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Trademarks, logos, team names, and league names belong to their respective owners. We reference them to report and comment on the news — that's it.

Section 07

Intellectual Property & Trademarks

The HerClout name, logo, brand, original graphics, page design, and the articles Nova writes are owned by HerClout and protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive license to view and enjoy the Service for your own non-commercial use.

You may not copy, republish, scrape, resell, or build a competing product from HerClout's original content or design without our written permission. Sharing a link to an article is always welcome.

Team names, league names, athlete names, and their marks belong to their owners and are used here nominatively — for news and commentary.

Section 08

Acceptable Use

Use HerClout for what it's for — following women's sports. You agree not to:

We may limit, suspend, or remove access if someone misuses the Service.

Section 09

Feedback & Submissions

If you send us feedback, ideas, a player request, or any other submission, you give HerClout permission to use it to improve the Service without owing you anything for it. Please don't send us anything confidential, or anything you don't have the right to share.

Section 10

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the Service will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. Scores, stats, and news are provided for general information and may lag or contain mistakes.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HerClout isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you — and nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.

You agree to cover HerClout for claims, losses, or costs that result from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Section 12

Termination

You can stop using HerClout anytime. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or if we need to protect the Service or other users.

If we ever wind down a feature, our founding-member promise still stands — core access stays free for life for members who joined by August 8, 2026.
Section 13

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HerClout grows. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and significant changes may be announced by email or on the site. If you keep using the Service after an update, that means you accept the new Terms.

Section 14

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you ever have a problem, email us first at hello@herclout.com — most things can be sorted out quickly and informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved that way will be handled in the United States.
